Expect Nature’s Beauty
When your driveway looks like this…
Expect to find…
These moths are so well camouflaged that you might miss them if near other leaves since their wings look just like leaves themselves.
These babies have been the most fun to watch. How the momma is keeping them all alive I have no idea since she only seems to feed one at a time.

Earth Day Sunrise
This summer we are expecting Marty and Kathy’s family. They remind us so much of our own large family that we (as in I had my husband) built this table for their outdoor dining! It comfortably seats 12! You won’t find this view anywhere else! It’s hard to believe you’re almost at 3,000 ft elevation.
Snow, snow, snow !
Mother nature is painting a Winter Wonderland at Treehouse. Here are today’s pictures!

Snow at Treehouse
These pictures were taken by our newest friends and most recent guests at Treehouse. They were greeted by 2 inches of snow! This was a perfect setting as they were celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary and enjoyed a snow covered 2nd honeymoon.
Sunrise over Lake Blue Ridge
This is the view I woke up to the other morning. This was taken from the deck. The lake is under the clouds. It’s amazing viewing this from the top of the mountain.
Amicalola Falls
Amicalola is a half hour from Blue Ridge. It’s worth the trip. You can see the top of the falls by a short car ride. If you’re up to the challenge you can then take 275+ steps down to take the picture below (which of course means you have to climb that many up). If you dare you can continue down for a total of 600 + steps!

Falls Creek Falls
Rain + Rain + Rain = Waterfalls!!
Falls Creek Fall is 5 miles or so from Treehouse. With all the rain we’ve had this is what it looked like last week. I’ve had to reduce the image size for the blog.
