Sunrise over Lake Blue Ridge
This is the view I woke up to the other morning. This was taken from the deck. The lake is under the clouds. It’s amazing viewing this from the top of the mountain.
Treehouse is Barrier Free and Wheelchair Friendly
There is very little cost associated with modifications that can be made to welcome all guests-those that walk in and those that wheel in. Treehouse allows the elderly and the physically challenged to feel welcome and their caregivers have one less thing to worry about during their vacation. Small modifications, that become great conveniences, go unnoticed until they are needed. When you can roll a suitcase or a stroller right in, when your elderly relative can avoid some steps, when you can fill a pot with water while it is at the burner and not have to worry about carry it from the sink to the stove…well, it’s just the little things that matter. At Treehouse we try to exceed your expectations by considering even the small things.
Our Treehouse does not meet, ADA, handicap accessibility standards…yet. But it is most definitely wheelchair friendly. Below you will see the very first modification we made. We (and of course by “we” I mean my husband) added a ramp using the same style as the rest of the deck front entrance. In time, it will have the same patina as the rest of the woodwork and it too will go unnoticed…until you need it. That’s the whole point.
I can rest assured that all our guests are welcome-those that walk in as well as those that wheel in.

Barrier Free Ramp to welcome all guests!
